Isn't Deep Space Nine stationary per definition?

Here is a link to the decompiled code of the Yamato mod, it reflects how much work went into it, especially with the turrets e.t.c.

Quite interesting reading as well

In its original design , the Space Battle Ship Yamato can carry Space Fighters .
Here is a description of the mechanism :

That is pretty cool.  Unless they have the whole "localized" gravity stuff figured, it would suck to be one of the pilots in the fighter that is positioned upside down before they are flipped. In space that probably does not matter, but while in a planet's atmosphere, it would.  I admit I did not see the original anime, but is there a similar sequence for fighter recovery?

Perhaps could the pilot wait until his fighter turns to  upside position before climbing inside ?

And , yes , there is a fighter recovery procedure :

Awesome.  Would be cool to have that somewhat modded.

The "Test" map kinda looks like the surface of the death star...  maybe someone with skills can create spaceship mods (and some form of map to support that).  I remember some years ago someone made X-Wings and Tie Fighters for MS Combat Flight Sim.  It was actually fun.

I mentioned before but my modding hobby started with the X-Wing vs TIE-Fighter series of space Sims and moved to X-Wing Alliance.  Unfortunately the original X-Wing and TIE-Fighter series were obnoxiously hard coded so it made Modding more of a challenge but there were some mods out there.

Just a quick question about this mod.
In the readme, I saw that this mod was partially built from the F4 Phantom mod.

Does that mean it will only work in JTW, or has anyone been able to get it working in WAW?
