BAT 4.0 is only WAW now just proceed with installing 4.2 and  choose the option to install the additional modules everything will be there actually there was no need for 4.1 you could have installed directly 4.2

Frankiek, you misunderstand him.
He *wants* 4.1 for the additional era modules but can't see any in his selector apparently?

Uzin, can you make 1) a screenshot for the option in your selector?  ("Change settings" -> "Game type" -> the list)

And also 2) please provide the contents of your il2fb.ini here in #code tags (This file defines what is shown in the selector)  and 3) tell if you have folders #DOF3, #TGA3, #JTW3 in your main IL-2 directory.

If you did everything according to instructions (simple as that is), the other modules must be there.

It seems that your Il2fb.ini was not updated you should have something like that (this is from my BAT) if you want you just try to cut and paste this text in to your Il2fb.ini (after making a copy) overwriting whatever is there
Code: [Select]

This is kind of strange as I have manually edited the Il2fb.ini file to adapt it to my set up and the selector was always responsive.  The only thing that I can suggest is to download the copy of the Il2fb.ini file from the BAT 4.1 blue edge update and overwrite the one in your folder. No arm for your install as this is just a simple text file

Uzin, what did you do to get there?
Your 4.1 install is not correct.

Looks like you did not run the exe an copied files manually without overwriting. That is the only way you can get to this state of things.

What is your folder path to your BAT install? Any protected path?

What color is your BAT launch image after starting from selector? Red or blue frame?

4.2 install was a bad move. You need to get 4.1 right first.

Well, I shall reinstall 4.1 from the beginning -first 4.0 to 4.122, then 4.1. Fortunately, I have files downloaded okey.
I shall report results later.
Thank you for your time.

Heureka !!!¨
After reinstalling 4.0 and 4.1 all works okey, all modules are selectable by Selector.¨
As usual, the mistake was between the chair and the keyboard: new file Il2fb.ini was overlooked and omited when copying 4.1 version to Sturmovik 1946 folder.
Many thanks for great patience with me.

It's generally not a good idea to copy BAT files manually to the target folder.
We're not TD. We've shipped BAT with installers for a reason.
The BAT installers do more than just copying files around. Sometimes much more.
