Hi. Thanks, this is not just great but awesome! I'm a lousy shot with the standard X-4 missiles and these homing ones are fantastic. One thing though, the AAA variant loadout is unchanged. Do I have to do anything or has the AAA variant mod been updated?

And I don't see a reason to keep AAA-version mod if U have SAS-version.
Moreover, AAA policy is against any FM/DM/WM changes. This's a reason for making this mod for SAS and one of reasons I'm here.

Ta-183: droptanks & AI fix

Loadouts with droptanks [abwurftanks in German] added (due to absence of special hooks it looks odd in loadout screen, as it has been just dropped)


AI handling of guided & homing missiles improved and become more realistic, especially in air-to-ground role.
Now AI can attack exactly that ground or naval target it "want", as it have direct control over missiles;
commits ground attacks with X-4 AAM in guided mode; in some cases it will turn guided missile back to another run, if it missed target.
General AI control over X-series missiles in air-to-ground mode also improved and depending on AI skill.
For homing AGMs range is 4000-5000 m.

Since the mod features loadout with both homing X-4's and X-7's together, AI code becomes a bit more sophisticated, but I think it worth it, in addition, AI now using X-4 & homing X-7 for ground attacks in more realistic way and no more wasting homing X-4 on ground targets in direct fire fashion.

EDIT: DM changes: airframe overspeed desintegration now starts with tail assembly, as most prone to flutter.

But You have done there many grammatical mistakes in that loadouts of yours.

So I have one request on you, Can you please correct that loadouts entries for your Ta-183 fix.

Im "a bit" deep into German lang, coz I was learning it for 12 years in the line and threeandhalf years ago I was graduated with highest german state language diploma DSD-2 (Deutsches-Sprachdiplom Zwei).
My former billingual highschool is (still) the best in education of German language in Slovak republic, honored and awarded many (more than 10) times by German Embassy with awards for high quality of whole education process namely for German lang.

My graduation class was in 2006 awarded as the best class at our highschool and top rated in whole Slovakia, same as best rated in comparison with other billingual schools (with extended education of German language) in the near region like Czech, Poland, Hungary and others.

That award was for the way how our class completed the DSD-2 exams, my classmates and I have been honored by German ambassador in person- he handed the diplomas direct to ous and gave everyone of us his hand and wishing us the best to future- that all was on the ceremony which was recorded by german state TV . With that diploma I can work in Germany without beeing tested from language self, all of us are taken as we can speak,write and think in German like real/home Germans, so we need only the  diploma of our specialisation (lawyer, economic, pharmaceutic/doctor or technic Ingenieur)- and we can go into work directly and without any limitations as some foreigners.
Thats about me and something to know more.

Please let give me the possibility to correct it for you - same as for All on SAS site.

For Droptanks are in German more words to express it correctly in respect for technical naming, like:

Droptanks= Abwurftanks (in sing. der Abwurftank),
der(sing.)/die(pl.) Abwurfbehaelter (*same form in sing. and plural with accent on 'a') - dropable loadout

or other name for aircraft-attached tank
is 'der Treibstofftank' (plural- Treibstofftanks) for fixed tank  :D

So please correct the german words/phrases in those Loadouts for your automatic guided X-4 and X-7 missiles.

MK (-103, -108 and so on etc.)= Maschinenkanone, here is the correct shortcut for it coz in real it was signed as 'MK-108'
RK= Ruhrstahl-Kramer  [for X-4: the whole codename was RK X-4] ,*/Fernlenkwaffen (for- remotely guided missiles)  ;)

Please, then re-post here the "corrected version" of your Ta-183 fix. Just for having loadout completely in German.

Abwurftank would be the correct word for jetisonable fuel tank

Abwurfbehälter is a form of bomb as in AB (=AbwurfBehälter) 500 or so.

Treibstofftank is a fixed installation.

My expertise does not extend much further "Hände hoch", but I'd also like to see loadouts names and other AC-related text in national languages (may be, except Japanese characters).

Appreciating your attention, guys, and posting grammatical fixed update. Also, there is small fix in missiles launch order.

The latest version of your Ta183 patch doesnt work for me. I had to revert to last one, whi i've dled on 18th september this year.

Im running latest UP2.01- updated at the beginning of september all mods work correctly nio cnflicts, coz i dont use mods which are conflicting the other in MODS folder.

BTW..taht latest Ta183 fix from you is weird coz when i was trying to rewrite the files in older Ta-183 folder i had in MODS - it told me that it was done in 2006!

Is really your latest Ta183 fix older than your previous version, which was here in september??
 and other thing to ask: Should be the folder extracted for  RocketXseries and named same RocketXseries: to be put into MODS folder as whole or should i place just there just the folders whose are in RocketXseries folder.

Same for Ki-100 Ko weapon enhancement thing (offline mod)..  In all cases it did 60%CTD. I tried all but still 60 CTD, so i had to revert older Ta183 fix and delete Ki-100 ko offline mod.

My story was:

So i've tried and first deleted Ki100 folder in MODS, launched the game.
Again 60 crash.

Then tried to use only the folders which are in RocketsX series folder, and deleted RocketX folder, launched the game and same 60 crash.

Then Reverted completely to your older Ta183 fix, and deleted all folders extracted from RocketXseries archive.

then launched the game and older version of Ta183 fix with older Xrockets is working nice again.

Waht is wrong with that new offline mods from you? how can i solve it?

I know how to mod the game but that never happended to me - to have so many crashes...

Tried some variants, but didn't managed to get same effect, as U have. Removing RocketXseries folders just leads to disappearing of corresponding loadouts.
EDIT: PROVED TO BE WRONG. Mess with RocketXseries install really causes crashes while mission loading.

This's because of clock failure on my PC due to drained battery. Latest version really older.

RocketXseries should be unrared directly to \MODS directory. In result, U supposed to have a several new folders in \MODS directory: RocketX4, RocketX4homing, RocketX4R, RocketX7, RocketX7homing, RocketX7R. It's a "common" weapons sub-mods, referred by some of my AC mods, was not changed since 1 October 2010.

Just in case, check, is some other 0F353CAC2F5BF986 file in your game folders. If it is so, there mod conflict may take place.
(BTW, my 0F353CAC2F5BF986 fle is 30790 bytes size)
Also, I would suggest some files integrity fault.
