IL2 graphics extender by slibenli and B.A.T current version, IL2GE has some issues but slibenli is working the kinks out and when it is good it is very good (IMHO). All captured in game with no editing.

The GE potential is enormus!

The last picture is the most important...you can see the land at the horizont as never before....

I use it and find it very immersive. I'm sure Slibeni will improve in the future the water effect and the too bluesh colour of the sea. But so far so good all the same. Great work and still working on it. I'm impressed.

I think that in IRL the horizon looks flat , and not curved , until around 20 000 m altitude .

You think wrong...the earth surface is curved even at sea level....if you look at the horizont from the coastline you can see it...
