The Suez Crisis, or the Second Arab–Israeli war, also called the Tripartite Aggression and the Sinai War was an invasion of Egypt in late 1956 by Israel, followed by the United Kingdom and France. The aims were to regain control of the Suez Canal for the Western powers and to remove Egyptian president Gamal Abdel Nasser, who had just swiftly nationalised the foreign-owned Suez Canal Company, which administered the canal. Israel's primary objective was to re-open the blocked Straits of Tiran.

See here: https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,63277.msg696715.html#msg696715

Requirements:

B.A.T. v4.2.2
DCG 3.50 beta  (https://forum.jg1.org/forum/68-dcg-announcements/)

Installation:

Decompress the Suez.rar into your DCG home directory.
Make a backup of the DGEN directory in you IL-2 game directory
Copy Dgen & Paintschemes folders from your Suez folder and paste them in your IL-2 game directory. Overwrite if prompted.
Start DCG, select Optional Third Party Data Folder.
Navigate to the Suez folder and select allcampaigns.dcg
Select "Replace Career Generator (DGen)" in the DCG main screen.
Select Off Line Career (Full Auto-Generation Mode) in the DCG main screen.
Launch Il-2 JTW module and select one of the above-mentioned careers.

Optional:

To get Israeli and Egypt ranks and medals copy the contents of "Replace RO and DU"- folder (included in the Suez folder) and paste them to Missions/Campaigns folder in your IL-2 game directory

To restore Romanian and Dutch ranks and medals copy the contents of "Restore RO and DU"- folder (included in the Suez folder) and paste them to Missions/Campaigns folder in your IL-2 game directory

Note that AFAIK there are no Hebrew or Arabic speech packs for B.A.T so unfortunately Israeli and Egpytian pilots speak English

Recommended DCG Settings:

Transfers are set off by a timetable command and I recommend that it is kept off to avoid overcrowding of certain airfields

Recommended action radius > 700 km.
Air Starts: On
Delayed Start Times: On
Historical Production Dates: Off

This campaign is pretty heavy so you may need to turn down Squadron Density, Maximum Flights/Squadron  and possibly even  Column Density and/or Stationary Object Density for smooth playing, depending on your rig.

Credits and thanks:

I noticed the Wyverns in this campaign had some funky brown camo paint scheme not seen on Wyverns (looks like some Austrailian air force pacific pattern), especially in the suez. I was able to find a repaint here somewhere with the correct royal navy sea grey over sky scheme and the gold/black stripes for the Suez operation. I suggest anyone who uses this campaign use appropriate skins for this plane.

Skin in picture is accurate,  I just used the skin, not the plane. (suez) Left whatever plane you used in the game and the skin worked, you may want to change the default though to use this skin as I had to select it for my plane every mission. I just wish it had no hard painted number and every plane could be numbered individually.

I just had an RAF venom blow up on a tarmac during startup in campaign. I must have a screwy file. The tarmac does seem a bit rough with rolling hill terrain. Might of been the problem

blowing up on mission startup normally points toward a faulty weapons loadout in one of the mission planes not necessarily the player plane.

Try to set forest=2 in conf.ini and see if this solves the issue it could be one invisible 🌴 generated by forest=3
