Looks good but what are all the faint lines?

Those lines look to be the edge of the texture, where the alpha channel is not fully black. This can happen if one side of the texture extends right up to the very edge, while the opposite side does not. When the .mat file specifies full coverage from edge to edge, there can be a subtle 'bleed over, with a sub-pixel wide slice of the opposing edge being sampled. This becomes ever more of concern as the texture size decreases, as for more distant LODs in object models using smaller textures.

If I could have got my hands on this, the first task would have been fixing this issue and re-releasing it.  😉
