The skins I posted are labelled "JG1" and not "JG3", but since you first asked for a JG3 FW-190 A8 skin, then thought maybe you were wrong and in fact Bär flew a JG3 G-6 Erla or G-14, I thought maybe in fact you were looking for a Bär JG1 FW-190 A8 skin ...  ;)

Sorry, but so far I couln'd find a single picture of the plane(s) Bär flew during the 6 months he spent with JG3 ...  :-[

I could only find this one ...  8) :P

Yep, According to the Luftwaffe 1933-1945 website, Major Heinz Bär was transferred to JG 3 as Kommodore on 01.06.44 and held that position until 13.02.45 to be transferred as Gruppenkommandeure to III./Erg.JG2. During the time that he commanded JG 3, the stab of this unit exchanged its Bf 109G-6 for FW 190A-8 in June 1944, in September it received its first FW 190A-9 and in November the last A-8 was discharged. In all this time, Bär only managed three kills, 1 P-47 on August 7, 1944 and 2 Typhoons on January 1, 1945 (one of them still on its takeoff run).

As a curious note, although the JG 3 stab used A-9, in the operation BodenPlate Bär apparently piloted an FW 190D-9 (Bodenplatte, the Luftwaffe last hope, by John Mancho and Ron Pütz).

Having said all this, unfortunately I have not gotten a single photograph of the A-8, A-9 and D-9 piloted by Bär in this unit.

Well we know that Bar don't have Goering favor. I assume that Bar disappeared from newspapers. Tha is a possible reason.
