Hi Frankiek,

once more I have to ask for help :(

I tried to transfer one more HSFX-object to BAT. The      Taranto Hangars -> GrottaglieHangar1
I did exactly the same, as with the GermanBlocks.

But this time it won't work.

I found that the dead.sim file is missing, but I copied it exactly from the HSFX dump folder.

Can you help me again?

No problem,
The dump actually extract the files that are loaded by the game engine however dead or damaged files and meshes are loaded only if the destruction of the object take place. So if we are speaking about buildings you should set up a mission destroy the object and the dead.sim and the dead mesh will be loaded and dumped.
It is to be noted however that many objects in game (including stock) don't have the dead.sim and dead mesh. I don't know if this is the case  but it could be a possibility.
Master Epervier in his il-2 download pages at mediafire has a very large collection of objects that most likely include the ones that you need.  Has a mapmaker this is a must have collection.

I hope that he won't be upset if I provide you the link

Thank you Master.

I will try this and have a look on the link.

So you do think, it's the misding dead.sim file that causes the problem?

Thanks a lot!

The missing dead file is not needed for the object to be visible

So what's the problem here?

Did I do anything wrong?
I followed the way like for the GermanCityBlocks ...

let me look into it and will let you know

It seems that you just have a typo in the folder name that should read GrottaglieHangar1_HSFX and not GrottagleHangar1_HSFX

Unfortunately it's not that easy.

The typo you found is just a result of the bad resolution of the uploaded picture.
I checked the writing before and after you send me your message.

Mh.. i have ONE main folder for the "new" objects" Within this there are two folders.
One with the GermanCityBlocks and one with the hangar.
Shoul I have an own main folder for the hangar? But I don't think this is the reason?

I solved all problems!!!

It was a mistske in the naming of the folder.
Stupid me?
I also recognized, that there were the destruction files missing in the CityBlocks.
I do have to create another update for the Eastern Frisia Map...

But at least:
It works now!!  :)
