Exactly, VP ModPack complete reinstall, after you backed up
your stuff. It's wise to do a complete Backup, Missions, skins, Mods, BlaBla.
But we always look into getting a stable base, before tinkering.
That haven't changed in Modding over Years, let it be HSFX, DBW or old Modacts...
Deal is to get a working Install, unless your issues are gone.
When it's working perfectly, do a Backup of such fresh, clean Install.
It saves you time and nerves if a Install is getting bonked.
Then you can apply whatever stuff, custom Mods. Always have a working install, and Backups.
BAT Red Core is 4.0, next step is Blue edge 4.1, then Update 4.2.1., then finally
Update Patch 4.2.2 Hotfix 4.
I say, because you intend to grab custom Mods.
If you're on RedCore and grabbing some of my Mods for such
ancient BAT, you'll get no support. Some stuff is not to work,
intentionally as you miss core BAT parts anyway.
Also i don't see the logic in going with outdated stuff, unless you can handle,
prep stuff for it yourself.
An up to date BAT is not hard to get, but is exceptionally stable.
Once it's installed, same procedure as VPModPack, clean and fresh working,
Backup, apply your custom stuff, first non-invasive,
purpotedly compatible stuff, Skins etc.
Missions and custom Mods is a Trial and Error.
