Big news. Putting in IP addresses in the game itself connects just fine. So I'm assuming it's an issue with Hyperlobby.

Big news. Putting in IP addresses in the game itself connects just fine. So I'm assuming it's an issue with Hyperlobby.

I suspect what's happening is that Hyperlobby goes in and messes with your localHost setting in your conf.ini. This was happening to me earlier when I was flying with some people on Hyperlobby.

To fix this, open Hyperlobby's settings, scroll down to the [IL-2 Sturmovik 1946] section, and make sure you have set:

DetectLocalIP = 0

Thats correct, so it connects to the server just fine and sees the game versions are different.

Or there is something missing on your end (file missing or corrupted)

Mine sometimes stops loading at 90% wen i am running the game in DirectX, wen i switch to OpenGL it than loads up fine usually (AMD RX 7000 cards dont run to good in OpenGL, so i am running DirectX as it looks better on those cards)
