 Anyone can help me? Have built a 4.0 install trying to solve this problem that I have in the other installs. have the same problem. Any Idea?

Try a clean install with out patching it, see if that launches from the il2fb.exe in the game folder.
If your Clean version is a Higher version than 4.12.2 than use the Unpatcher: https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,55464.0.html
If its a lower version Patch it to 4.12.2 using this: https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,38443.0.html

Maybe its usefull to give some more info also like what hardware and Windows version your running.
Also exactly what game version (DVD/GoG/Steam) and what Mod pack are you trying to run?

Yes!!! Thank You!!!! That solved it!   Mind you I didn't do anything to mess things up! I run windows 11 and I just got its updates...  Anyway thank you all!

Yeah, be prepared these Win11 Updates sometimes
do silly changes, slight but extremely nerving changes to
a custom, running Setup.
Since Win 7/8 they overdoze Bling-Bling and Lametta (for the fancy Youngsters), and hide stuff (for the Dementic),
outsource access to the System. Purpotedly noting Windoof User is unable and shouldn't sniff around. Wuff-Wuff 

I had Updates each doing mess
blocking Internet Acces for some reason
resetting GUI/Folder style (new fancy content change)
messing up my Graphic Card and Monitor to a Blinking Blackscreen

DEP I had the first Day too, thought I dealt with it,
to notice a Post by Mike, I still having it armed.

Gremlins all the way. Once solved I kick them into the Broom Room/Beesenkammer.

I need to stress though that no Windows update ever tinkered with DEP Settings (and neither Firewall settings, /re "blocking internet access").
In reality, users install new "free" Antivirus apps, try new "tools" and test those new fancy things advertised in their favourite PC magazines.
That's what messes up your PCs gents.
I know it's tempting to blame it all on Microsoft, but let me tell you from the perspective of someone who's been administrating a six-digit number of PCs in his lifetime: This isn't their fault.

Hi Mike and all! I'm writing this first of all to thank you for your never ending support, but also to give a possible solution to those that, like me, lately haven't managed to connect to servers. Well I discovered that my problem was that following this thread, although I succeded in starting the game again, I did tick the wrong slot and therefore made the game unable to connect. What I did to solve the problem was to tick on the "Turn on DEP for essential windows programs and services only" , wrongly, instead, I had ticked the one slot that needs to select the game as an exception, thing that I had forgot to do, me bad...

Now I know that most probably I'll hear Mike telling me that this thing had nothing to do with the problem, in that case I'll remain with this placebo and enjoy my playing on line again!

Sounds a bit weird but yes, of course you could theoretically turn on DEP for everything and add il2fb.exe to the exclusion list - in this case though, you need to repeat the exclusion step for every instance / copy of the game folder, separately, as the path to il2fb.exe is part of the exception rule.
That online part of things though would rather take place in the Firewall rules, but that's a completely different story. As a rule of thumbs, untinkered Windows will always allow all outgoing traffic to pass through, which means on Client side there's no need to tinker with Firewall settings with regards to IL-2, however on Server side you will most definitely need to.

Found this issue with Win10 update:  November 12, 2024—KB5046613

I uninstalled this update and the game worked right away!

Hope this saves someone hours of troubleshooting.
