Hi, Piotrek,
I am now working on so called preliminary release candidate of the Lvov map , meant as the basis for further discussion.
It would be nice if you point out the worst  errors you can see now so I can include possible repairs.

Best regards,
Ivan Uzin

P.S.:
I was born at Perechyn, on Feb. 1941.

Hi Uzin,
it's a good idea, I just have no idea what map to use to explain it well.

There are many mistakes in the area of Leki Dukielske, many villages are missing there, such as Rogi, Wrocanka, Wietrzno, Bóbrka (the cradle of the oil industry in Poland), Równe, Zboiska, Kobylany,
the lie of the land also does not match the reality here.

Edit:

Perechyn is certainly a beautiful and picturesque place, like most Carpathian villages and towns, I dream of visiting Uzhgorod and the surrounding area, I hope that the situation in Ukraine will change and adding Perechyn to the list of visited places will not be a problem.

I have one more small suggestion, in my opinion two border villages should also be included on the map:
Barwinek and Vyšný Komárnik

Best regards,
Piotrek

Just unpack into your MOD/MAPMODS/MAPS folder, it should work as is.

All.ini entry :

 Lvov_R Lvov_R/load.ini

Villages not yet populated.

I have one more small suggestion, in my opinion two border villages should also be included on the map:
Barwinek and Vyšný Komárnik

Wikipedia says:
Barwinek: The village has a population of 230.
Vyšný Komárnik: The village has a population of  80.
Really necessary?

These are border villages, but maybe they really are too small to worry about them,

Corrected map height file (mainly using Gimp/.../color/curves),
made all AF terrain horizontal (so as AI can take off/landing correctly).
Release candidate 2 can be dl here:

https://www.mediafire.com/file/6lozpqgudaxelva/Lvov_R_rc2.7z/file

What to do next: populate inhabited places.
