Thinking out of the box, did any of you RX 7000 users try Mesa3D already?

sound a little bit like the old trick (atiogl.dll) with the ATI cards and ......... drivers ;D

It does make mesh viewer run on headless server via RDP so there is a little bit of hope, provided the CPU can take the additional load.
Only RX 7000 users can do the final check.

Sadly that doesnt help, remains the same as before as before only its glitching wen changing views and my CPU is getting much hotter than before.

Tried all 3 ways as it says on the site, but doesnt seem to help.

I'll give this a go. I'm fairly confident my CPU can handle it.

Thats not the problem, CPU should run it fine though my Ryzen 9 7900X got a bit hotter than normal.

The problem is to get "perfect" graphics you need Hardwareshaders enabled (and some other setting that are linked to that wich can not be enabled/set higher)

If you look in your Conf.ini file you see it keeps changing "hardwareshaders=1" back to "hardwareshaders=0" no matter what you try, including making it Read Only wich prevents the file from being changed, but it seems the Game just overrulles it (or its not working because the card can not run it)

Absolutely! Mesa3D is a software renderer, meaning it doesn't deal with Hardwareshaders. So, throwing in a "hardwareshaders=1" won't work—just won't. But here's the twist: it might come in handy if those AMD drivers decide to take a break in both DirectX and OpenGL modes by default. That's why I suggested someone give it a whirl. If it doesn't pan out, no biggie. It's all in the spirit of experimentation.

Mesa3D didnt work, (and it caused graphics glitches wen changing views for a second or 2) i suspect it did not change a think because its a Software render, but i suspect that seeing what the game is doing by default (with out Mesa3D) that its already in a sort of "software render mode" by default because the cards do not suport the old OpenGL and Old OpenGL and DirectX Hardware Shaders.

So far to me DirecX mode looks pretty nice, running that in 4K res with all the enhancements of the AMD Radeon control center enabled.

Texmipfilter is overridden by the AMD settings, TexCompressARBExt is related to TextureCompression, so if thats off, then the other is also off, but your right, TexMipFilter=3 and TexFlags.TexCompressARBExt=0 would be correct

I think Forest=3 is related to Hardwareshaders, so think it wil jump back to 0 on its own but i give it a shot and try 1 and 2 also if 3 doesnt work.
EDIT: Forest=3 is indeed related to Hardwareshaders so it does not work, Forest=2 works fine though.

Didnt look much into the current Conf.ini i am using, its basicly a back-up version, that was working properly.
Got an other problem with my FFB2 Joystick right now.
EDIT: My Sidewinder FFB2 needs to be "Refresh"ed in the Input screen everytime i start the game or i got no Force Feedback...

Both - cloud corruption and ability to activate Hardware shaders=1 is going to be fixed in AMD's driver in the first quarter of 2024.
