Going Commando: The 1st ACG, a DBW CampaignThis campaign was made with Il-2 1946, 4.10.1 #DBW.
I can't verify if this campaign will work with anything else (but I wouldn't count on it).
This is a 30-mission, historical campaign, where you will fly with the 6th Fighter Squadron (Commando), 1st Air Commando Group
This campaign covers the 1st Air Commando Group from February, 1944 to May, 1945
As shown in the screenshots below, you will fly the P-51A, P-51B, P-47D, and P-51D.
Take me to the River...In my campaigns, always start with the highest rank available. You will thus have command of your squadron in the air in all missions, allowing you to order individual flights to attack specific targets.
Hit me with your Best Shot...There is usually other air activity going on during these missions. This is a little reminder that there is more to this war than just you. Cycle through the cameras if you want to see what else is going on.
I'm a Rocket Man...In this campaign, the emphasis is on ground attack, as it was for the real 1st Air Commando Group. There are some air-to-air missions, so you'll certainly have your chance to be an ace, but by and large, this is a ground attack-themed campaign.
