Binding XBOX One triggers
« on: February 05, 2024, 12:09:46 PM »

Hello everyone,
I've been attempting to map the controller bindings for my Xbox One controller and I would like for the triggers to be available for the guns. But from my research and many attempts to make it work it seems like the game won't let me bind either trigger to anything. As far as I can figure out, it seems the triggers work like axis. I was wondering if there is any workaround for this?

Yes, there is a tool you can use for this called Joytokey

personaly i would use the triggers for rudder and A, B, X, Y for weapons, but if you want to use the triggers for the guns with that tool you can set the triggers to be seen as keys/buttons

Thanks for the advice! It worked, but it'll only work if I don't run IL-2 as admin. That could become frustrating, but for now, my build of il2 is running fine without it.
