Game not recognizing two hotas
« on: February 07, 2024, 02:40:00 AM »

So my game doesn't recognize my throttle and Stick together. It only recongnizes one of the two. It always prefers my throttle, but if I unplug it it also recognizes my stick(T.1600M). The buttons work sometimes but not the axis. If somebody has any Ideas help is appriciated, since I really want into the game!

Have you tried going back to Windows joystick settings? That solved my problems in the past.

right click the windows key then choose "run" type: joy.cpl and the game controller window will open showing the devices  you have. Select the one you want to tweak click properties and you are there.

Also, IIRC, if you type USB into the Windows search you should see an option for 'setup USB controllers' which will let you setup or calibrate your controllers and you will see if they at least work properly outside the game.  If they do then you know the problem is with the game seeing your controllers as opposed to it being a Windows problem.  If Windows isn't 'seeing' one or more of your controllers then you know it's a Windows issue and not the game itself.
I hope that makes sense.

Windows definitely recognizes both and it isn‘t a windows issue. Also in the Il2-Setup.exe under Joystick it recognizes both.

I now solved the problem wit vjoy. It can combine two physical controller into one virtual. It was fairly easy to set up and works perfectly!
