Planes do not appear in livery/loadout screen, or when mission loads.

BAT 4.2.3 confirmed. Some planes do not have their own line in air.ini, static planes are displayed as "plane".

BAT 4.2.3 confirmed.

I am not completely sure what that means exactly, but the plane is working fine in BAT 4.2.3.

Yep they worked from the first time I installed it.  I did have to remove the mod installation I did in 4.2.2 before installing 4.2.3.

This is always the correct thing to do.

Yes, confirmed for modded BAT 4.2.3.
I forgot that I prepared my JSGME air.ini files before installing 4.2.3. So if I turn the mod on, I'll not only delete the FFVS J22A/B, but a few others as well.

Perhaps the solution for AnzacA1 will be similar to mine.

Thanks to Vampire_pilot for confirming that 4.2.3 works, then I was finally able to find my own mistake :) :) :)

I'm not using BAT, just ModAct.

This is a very nice modeled plane, but I wanted to bring something to attention.

Is it just me, or are the 13.2mm Akan m/39s on this plane feel extremely underpowered, especially for something that used HE shells.

I've done a bit of testing and it almost seems that the 1,080 rpm each gun is supposed to have, is almost non-existent. Feels worse than .50cals

Doing some runs on the water seemed to show that not every bullet is present, comparing this to the P-51C with 4.50s vs the 4 13.2ss

for every tap burst, 4 present splashes

j-22 for every tap burst only 2 from whatever side of the wing is firing a tracer shell. Mind you the J-22 has the higher ROF.  I'm not sure if this is something already known or not

For comparison, the J-21As 20mm with 630rpm when fired alone into the water, shows a much greater presence of bullet splashes, showing that every bullet is concurrently modeled, with this having an even lower rate of fire, compared to the .50s.
