Some questions about the Bf109 K14
« on: March 10, 2024, 09:36:59 PM »

Legend has it that the Bf109 K14 has three MK108 cannons, and it is possible to mount two more MK108 cannons, or two MG151/20 cannons, is this true?

The K-14 has for standard armament three 30mm cannons fitted.. no other cannons or extra external armament pods can be fitted to her except of course for bomb loadouts.. but the alternate for MG/151's internal cannons are selectable :)

The aircraft you CAN select such outrageous cannons for is the Bf-109L.. play around with that and you'll see ;)

Just a friendly heads up about the Bf 109K-14 - it's actually a bit of a phantom!
It was only ever a project and, truth be told, it was cancelled.
And if I may be so bold, it was cancelled for some pretty solid reasons.

But, why not, have those cancelled planes too, in the game? It just make game even more interesting etc. And, we all can use our imagination, example, if the ww2 would/could last, example to year 1947, then, there could be possibility, that many cancelled planes, around the world, would/could become real, in those days. And, you can, anyway any case, put them, atleast, Frankenplane gallery :) Personally I, myself, like very much, to see/test, examine, fly and fight, by those kind of planes. Maby, I am like a child, in the big toy store :)

There is no lack of Messerschmitt fighters whatsoever

K-14 is present in Bf-109 pack. It has all mainline Bf-109 variants except prototypes like Bf-109H or Bf-109X

A pack of 109 experimental versions, including 109 with butterfly tail, 109 floatplane and 109 with CRP is available too

Me 155, Me 209, Me 309 and Me 509 are all available. BV 155 is available in two versions

Even the daddy of 109, Bf 108 is available

If this is still not enough, IES has stock Bf-109s but with new high poly 3D models and cockpits, plus improved start-up procedure and handling

This should be enough to get busy for quite a while

All just a fingertip away, in Ultrapack, ready-to-use, with no gongs and tinsel.

Well, Ol Willy and all: When I did speak about cancelled planes in ww2 times, I didn't mean/talk about only Bf 109 family/versions, I was meaning about all those cancelled planes, in every countries, in those ww2 times, and, also time before the war, and couple years after war. And yeah, I do agree, we have now already, nice numbers of Bf 109 versions, we have good big family, of them  8)
