Working Radar Scope in the Cockpit?
« on: April 14, 2024, 10:26:45 AM »

Has there been a mod that redone the cockpits of night fighters to have a working radar scope in the cockpit?

Not sure if its even possible.

Don't we have it in some night fighters, as He 219 and Bf 110 (G4, probably)?

FYI,

I just select MAP and Select Frontal radar for those excellent aircraft that have no radar scope as part of the cockpit layout. I am not much of a Night Crawler.

Some planes have working radar scope in the cockpit - Bf-110G4, P.1101, US nightfighters with Asura's radar mod

Some planes have radar scope as a second cockpit - Ta-154, Me-262HGV, I also added it to a number of other nightfighters like Do-335 or He-219

You have to check the each mod package

Or use Ultrapack, it has radar scopes installed where needed

Ah, I've only been flying U.S. Navy planes when it comes to ones that had radar, F4U, F6F, and TBM variants.

Dood Ol Willy you are awesome!

Do I just drop this in "BATMODS"... and if something messes up can I just take it back out of the folder to fix?  I don't see a readme.

Running out of space to back up BAT.

I'm not good at the using mods thing.

I don't use BAT but I assume it has something like "mod" folder (it could be called #WAW3) where all the additional stuff could be placed. Just place the #NFighters folder in there and you are good to go. If something goes wrong, you just delete it and that's all

So it should look like IL-2_1946/#WAW3/#NFighters

Thank you,

To a novice at Mods, reading on here "how toos" in some posts they seem to breeze by some basic details a lot.
