Something alongside PWCG if anyone used it with IL2 GB. Having the ability to continue a campaign after your pilot either dies or is captured in a mission would be good.

if you die or you are captured you simply restart the mission and campaign goes on

So that battle is recorded even when I restart?

When you restart a mission in a dynamic campaign, it's like time traveling back to change what happened. All of the things that happen when you flew the mission the first time get erased.

On average, the average average averages, averagely, the average average of all averages.

Yeah, exactly. I was wondering if there is a way to continue the campaign in DCG after you die. So everything that happened in the mission including your death or capture is recorded and you can play as a new pilot. Something like in flanders fields where you can continue where you left of as a new pilot.

Change pilot during a campaign is not possible in IL2

I see, thanks.

I just read the DCG "reset on death" option and it states the following: Stats Reset on Death: if check if the player dies in Career mode, his pilot statistics will be reset to zero and any other events that happened that mission will be recorded. If unchecked, the mission can be reflown without penalty as if it never happened.
