Anyone have any tips on how i might force FFB to work with my MSFFB2 stick with 1946 in Linuxmint 21.3?

Thanks for any suggestions.

Whoa, force feedback? That's an ancient stick. I didn't even know it existed until I saw LGR's video on it. I've got an old Sidewinder 3D Pro from my childhood and even that is apparently a major pain in the arse to get working on modern PCs. I don't have a ton of Linux experience, but I have used Ubuntu, which I believe Mint is a fork of. Shouldn't it have a package manager or something where you might find drivers? Maybe the users at the Linux Mint forums could help you?

I know it is an old piece, but it was always reliable and have a nostalgic love for it.While I can use my Microsoft Sidewinder FF2 joystick as a normal joystick with just centering forces in IL2 1946 (all axes and buttons work as expected), but force feedback seems to just not exist.
