Perfect Mode doesn't exist, apparently.
« on: June 21, 2024, 10:03:09 PM »

I've been trying for an hour straight to get Perfect Mode to be selectable so I can use Graphics Extender and it refuses to do so.
I have:
- checked that it's on OpenGL (it is)
- set hardwareshaders to 1 repeatedly, then hit read-only
- downloaded latest drivers for my GPU (which is an RTX 3050)
- looked through the forums and ran a whole bunch of conf.ini settings tests, and no dice
Am I just an idiot, or does this game hate me specifically?

Read SAS~Storebror's post in the conf.ini thread: https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,9756.msg185327.html#msg185327

It's also possible that if your computer has another graphics card like an integrated card, the game might be using the wrong card. Make sure to check that if you haven't already.

On average, the average average averages, averagely, the average average of all averages.

Right click on il2fb.exe and check the default graphic card you can also use the Nvidia control panel to specify the settings for this exe.

Well, that was an absurdly simple solution. Thank you! The game was indeed using the integrated one.
