What you experience is nothing like what you think you experience. No such files were touched by the update and nobody except you is experiencing it. So there's that.
What planes exactly and what happens then, do the planes crash?

In the tech help section, post an example mission that does that for you and a log of when that happens. Otherwise I'd say it's something on your end. Some mod of yours most likely.

I have experienced a similar problem with the gear retraction on the ground after the BAT upgrade.
It was in the original version of this mission before it was updated:
https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,72729.msg791960.html#msg791960

The original mission was created in one of the BAT updates before 4.2.3, two or three years ago.
Aircraft affected: Ar 234B1, player-controlled.
The issue was resolved by moving the first several waypoints on the ground.

Sorry, can't reproduce this, no matter how tightly I space the taxi points or whatnot. I also can't remember ever touching this particular aircraft in all my BAT years.

Unless I see it, I can't look into it. A mission and a log is what's needed.

This looks like a messed up install. This update did not handle any critical game files.

What version were you on before installing this?
Did you launch with the selector or directly with the il2fb exe?
Try other modules with the selector.

Unfortunately, I will not be able to reproduce it as well since I made the changes in 4.2.3 to the mission created in the older version.
My current 4.2.3 is a "clean" install: DVD copy - SAS Mega patch - BAT 4.0.
The older version had a longer history of changes and probably was upgraded from 4.12.2 or from downgraded 4.13.4. Maybe there were some add-ons in my older version despite I avoided adding anything between the BAT upgrades.

The version was 4.2.2 and I just run Il2fb.exe as always
I have tryed another modules and the behaviour is the same...only the splash screen

Do NOT - I repeat, do NOT - extract the files on your own. This is a split archive file. Let the extractor do its work.
