speed miles per hour/kilometers per hour, altitude in feet/meters (in the lower left corner)... how to make everything in the metric system, which mod is responsible for this

you can toggle through the different units just by pressing the speedbar key

You can map the 'Toggle Speed Bar' HotKey in controls (in-game), by default it is "S", AFAIK.
