When radio calls cone in from an AI actor who's already expired, it detracts from immersion. Supposedly some years back there was work done by 1C to reduce such instances. But if there were improvements, they must have been minor. Certainly, longer messages once commenced will continue to completion, and this forms the core of the problem.

I've begun to ponder if some means of applying a time delay before commencement of a message might be feasible. At least for those events concerned with destruction and other potentially fatal results. My idea is for an interval of time to start ticking down, and if the actor dies during that time the message is not generated.

Or the better approach would be to cut the audio at the moment of the actor's death or vehicle destruction or actor bailout.

I think cut completely would be more realistic as the current radio "AI" is obviously out of synch.  As one example "[Callsign] return to base immediately!" in my experience is a clear sign that the callsign has already blown up or crashed.  I think IIRC another example is "I'm going down!" is usually at the moment of a crash.

I've tried to keep the radio chatter set to only our squadron/flight as to avoid hearing "Bandits!......" from other flights and having no clue as to who or where the call is coming from.
