I had been working on a skin for the F-16 based on this leaked picture from February:


However, between now and then, the first images of in-service models have appeared, answering the question of "what might they look like?" (Sorry digi-camo lovers, reality is frequently kinda lame) :




This was sufficient incentive to finish up this project

I'm going to use them in the next update to my RSGT series of missions.

By the way, new pictures continue to arrive, we might see future changes of the camo. If the birds fly low they will probably be given new paint in the belly for better recognition as Su-24s which were painted orange and yellow to avoid friendly fire.

Thank you for the great skin. I don't know if F-16s will have any camouflage in the future, but I am sure that some parts will be painted in blue-yellow colors, like the Mig-29, Su-27, Su-25, Su-24.

While going over a few pictures that have been shared of the new F-16s I noticed a rather embarrassing error I had made in the skins (thankfully no-one else seemed to catch it). It has been rectified, however. New link, please replace the old ones with the new ones
