Before

After

Original

It's more three-dimensional and closer to the original.

Personally, I think it'd be better if it was a bit thicker.

That thought has been lingering in the back of my mind.
I'll whip up another thicker set.

One thing I found is they're depicted so many ways, especially in other sims.
I took aspects from the best three pictures I could find, of course our canopy frame isn't the best modelled.

Prompted by Gunny's feedback, I've increased the handle's diameter by 50%.
Personally I think this is an improvement and an updated version replaces the original in the first post.

Absolutely a great improvement. Would be great to have it for the Mark 1 too and also if all the cockpit could have that level of thikeness, if you know what I mean. The texture of the canopy seems sort of lacking in deepness.

G'day mate

I had settled in for a night of watching TV, but seeing your request I jumped on my PC and done the Hurricane MkI.
Dumped the cockpit and added the necessary files and hier entry in record time.
Link added to first post.

As far as the rest of the cockpit I'll leave that for someone more passionate, I wanted to fix something that bothered me since I first started playing in 2019 (see link).

... ::( ::( ::(

Thank you for your hard work !!

If I can tell you one more thing... the handles tend to be hard to see when I'm in the right position in the cockpit.

So I'm thinking about letting them lean a little inward.

I hope you consider it when you have time.

However, it would be okay to stop if there was a problem that the end of the handles looked a little out of the frame.

Thank you again.

Hi gunny0134

My initial plans were to do them at an angle of 45 degrees like the picture below.
I ended up doing them at a similar angle to the ones found in Great Battles.
I'll do another set for you tomorrow.

Sorry, but I have the handles still in the higher position.
Placed in STD/3d0/cockpits as instructed
