Looking for beginner friendly but interesting campaigns
« on: August 19, 2024, 11:29:49 AM »

Heyo, looking for some beginner friendly but interesting campaigns for my Dad to play. He has just started playing 1946 after watching me play it for so long, and it’s his first sim, so I want to introduce him to campaigns but not throw him into one where he is just gonna get smacked in 6 different directions.

Any recommendations?

Cheers,

Great Lakes Training by Beebop

Straight from the Farm by Zeus Cat

Guadalcanal Defense by Saldy

The Castaways by Dubbo

The Bush Pigs by Dubbo

These are some great classics , though there may be many more recent ones.
Be sure your game version matches with all requirements.

Your Dad might also enjoy all of Beebop's Chance Hardman Jungle Adventures.
There are quite a few.
You can find them all at M4T.
I don't know if they have ever been combined into a Campaign or not.

G'day sercrets

I recently adapted nylex09's Stock 4.14 Skalski's Circus campaign for B.A.T.
This was his first campaign and has all air starts and short flying times, you will be flying a later model Spitfire.

I've always enjoyed DHumphrey's campaigns as they are well constructed and written, I find they are on the easier side.
Although they were originally made with VP Modpack they can be found in one of the B.A.T. mission packs, I recommend Medal of Honor as a great starting point.
