I found the BAT link for online groups but.....

As per the subject, our online HSFX group has slowly decreased over the last few years and we're now essentially down to two members on a regular basis.  We normally flew organized coop campaigns almost exclusively WW2 focusing on Western allies.  I created a few campaigns using DCG ranging from Europe to Pacific including heavy bombers.

I know there's BAT groups out there in Europe but am curious if there's any others on this side of the Atlantic (North America).

Any info is appreciated.

I am interested to join , both on HSFX 7 and BAT .

However , It seems that the places in EST time zone use in fact EDT ( Eastern Daylight Time ) from april to october .

Is this correct ?

If this is almost exclusively WW2 then, probably, Ultrapack is a better choice than BAT for online. IMHO.

Dimlee;

We've used HSFX online for quite some time, specifically for WW2 missions.  Is there an advantage to switching to Ultrapack?

thanks,

I used HSFX online just a dozen times or so. Compared to Ultrapack,  noticed difference in some sounds and flying models. But I can't say which one is better.
Ultrapack has continous support however. Probably, there are some unique things. Mistel flying, probably?

As for BAT, my main concern is that it demands more powerful PC.

The main advantage of Ultrapack in relation to HSFX is that Ultrapack has been in constant development  so you will have the most recent feature and planes available that provides with plenty  of  opportunities for mission planning and scenarios form the thirties up to jet wars. Unfortunately HSFX arrested development in 2013.

Said this it all depends on what you are interested in. Recently I had plenty of fun in finally completing campaigns that I had let untouched since Pacific Fighters 4.04 days

DL'd UP yesterday.  I ran the .exe and everything installed OK.  Started up the selector, selected UP and hit start but no joy.  It stays at the selector.  What did I miss?

NOTE: I have HSFX and BAT running with no probs.

Any assistance is appreciated.

Assuming that no corrupted files screw up parts of the install did you check windows Data Execution Prevention? https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,71235.0.html

To say that there is a lot of information about UP here:

And of course, the online server with hundreds (not kidding!) UP missions:
