So I downloaded the Il2_411_1_INT and installed it to an empty folder.
I get fb_3do24.SFS ; fb_maps18.SFS ; files.SFS and some other files.

I will paste these .sfs files into my 4.12.2 version and than install HSFX 6.

I that correct Sir?

You only need to copy and paste the files.sfs all the other one are already there in version 4.12.2

I tried to install yestetday and today.
It runs until a file "hsfx.16something" is shown.
Than the animation goes on and on, the remain time says 0 seconds, but nothing further happens.

I wanted to upload a screenshot, but suddenly the image upload here tells me, that my picture (jpg as usual) is not supported?!?



...now where is my RedBaron floppy disk? ....

It seems that you are missing one or more components so just make sure that you have all the following files in the same folder

HSFX_Version_6_0.EXE
HSFX_Version_6_0.W02
HSFX_Version_6_0.W03
HSFX_Version_6_0.W04
Part2_Ver_6.EXE
Part2_Ver_6.W02
Part2_Ver_6.W03
Part3_Ver_6.EXE
Part3_Ver_6.W02

You just need to launch the first exe and everything will be installed in sequence. If installation stops even though all files are there could be that one file got corrupted during download most likely in part two or three. In any case during install you need to be patient as it take some time for the install programme to decompress and copy all the files in particular from part1 to part2 even tough install seems hanging the process is still at work and after a while you will se the process going quickly again. As you now IL-2 has thousands of small files such has classes or samples or Dgen so it takes a while to decompress and copy.

That's the point where "Part2_Ver_6.EXE" is run.
Part 2 and 3 installation takes place in a separate install window.
Maybe in your case that window is behind the one that appears to get "stuck" on 100% - check your task bar and look for multiple instances of the installer icon:


Another possible reason would be that you "forgot" to put the files for part 2 and 3 in the same folder.
In total, there are 9 files to install HSFX 6, and they all need to be in the same folder when you launch the installation process by running "HSFX_Version_6_0.EXE".

If part two has been running under the hood (so to speak) you should find files like fb_hfx3do_17 and so forth  did you check that?
