The files from M4T do not work at all!?

I have downloaded from both M4T links. Version 6 link direct you to a mediafire page that holds the different files

download went fine.
I run the first exe, installation window appeared and run, but then it stocks at hsfx.03...

Again all night long.

It seems the installation is getting stuck because part 1 waits for part 2 to finish. However, part 2 never starts, causing the whole process to halt. The key question is: Why is part 2 refusing to start?

As Frankiek mentioned, the usual culprit is often an antivirus program. Another possible issue could be the disk you're loading the setup from.

Here’s what you can try: close the installation process of part 1 (either by closing the window or using Task Manager to end the process), then run the part 2 installer manually. If I’m not mistaken, the HSFX installer doesn’t perform any complex operations in the background, so this method should achieve the same result as if the installation process had proceeded normally.

By the way I did notice that nearly all the concrete or asphslt plates were gone...

Could you clarify what we're discussing at the moment? Are we talking about HSFX version 6 or 7, or is this concerning your BAT 4.2.3 issue? Apologies, I'm a bit confused.

SUCCESS!!

I switched off every antivir thing I could find in this stupid Win10.
I downloaded again from M4T

Again the error occured hat file no.16.
Then I quit the installer, run the part 2 exe and after this finishedvthe part 3.

Now jsgme was finally there and hsfx6 seems to work!!

What a succesful evening!

Mh .. two phenomena.

After launching the game resp. map editor and loading a random map, there was no texture!
Everything - land and water were just white!?
The problem vanished after -again- using a conf.ini out of the forum.

But what was that?

The second thing and this one sucks!!!
When I move over the map in 2D, using the mouse and when I selecting objects with Alt + LeftMause the game freezes!!
After changing to desktop and goning back it works again for a while (some movements) and then it freezes again.

It is impossible to work on a map with this error!

Does anybody know that error? Is there a solution?

Ah ... the version is now HSFX 6.0.1
