Checking the files I saw that Haifisch had corrected the original definition "glider" to "seaplane" but there remains a difficulty in team takeoff with the autopilot.

You're welcome Mick. I found it strange that Dimon got the plane type wrong, I've now learned that in 4.09 the seaplanes are "glider" type.

:-X But in 4.12 if if it remained "glider" they will not be able to take off from a naval take off point and will land on an airport runway ignoring the water landing points.

Thanks a lot for this wonderful plane!

Apart the naval usage it was also used by a Squadron in the Dodecanese early in the war....IIRC....

You're welcome Mick. I found it strange that Dimon got the plane type wrong, I've now learned that in 4.09 the seaplanes are "glider" type.
A new quirk! So for the record, and to avoid seeing any UFOs, here's the list of 'Types' for the 409:

4.09m & UP2.01
TypeAcePlane: Used to designate ace aircraft in the game by default.
TypeAmphibiousPlane: aircraft that can ditch and land.
TypeBNZFighter: A variant of the fighter aircraft, but which attacks more often in a vertical plane.
TypeBomber: Level bomber, with the appropriate code, allows the use of a bomb sight.
TypeDiveBomber: Engages in dive bombing from a certain altitude.
TypeDockable : Can be attached to another aircraft, for example a parasitic fighter or a tanker.
TypeFighter: Engages easily in air-to-air combat (particularly with other fighters).
TypeFighterAceMaker: Aircraft equipped with a gyroscopic sight.
TypeGlider : Glider, can attach by cable to a defined carrier aircraft (G_11 - ME_321 - DFS_230 - Hamilcar - Horsa).
TypeSailPlane: aircraft that lands on water.
TypeScout: perhaps makes aircraft less likely to engage in air-to-air combat?
TypeStormovik: Performs a ground attack. Without this, aircraft would simply bomb on level ground.
TypeStormovikArmored: seems to be used exclusively by the Il-2, but I suppose it makes these planes more cautious in evasive manoeuvres because of their extra armour?
TypeTNBFighter: I think it's the same as the fighter, but I suspect it will never attack vertically.
TypeTransport: I'm not sure, but as with the Scouts, I suspect it makes them incapable of engaging in aerial combat.
TypeX4Carrier: Necessary for aircraft carrying X-4 missiles.

TypeTNBFighter= Turn and Burn fighter prefers  turning fights and manÅ“uvres such as loops of various lengths and angles ("turn") causing losses of energy in altitude and/or speed ("burn")

Ok, I got confused about the glider  :-[
In Dimon's original file the plane type is "Sailplane".
Google and DeepL translated it to Spanish as "Planeador" (Glider), as VP says, a bad translation.
And as Stanislao says for 4.12 it has to be "Seaplane" or the plane will land on grass and asphalt runways.
Thanks Epervier, useful information for the future, since Dimon makes his imports for 4.09
