Cold War " What if " mission on Sinai map

Hawker Hunter of the RAF take off  .
Their mission : intercept a huge formation of ennemy Tu-4


It is a long way to the area where the bombers will fly




Eventually we spot them !
The first missile is shot by RAVEN

I choose to attack the ennemy bombers from the front .
First missile !


First hit !


Then , immediately , a second missile !


Second hit !

Third missile !


Third hit !
I fly between the targeted bomber ands a debris


I meet a buddy who is attacking the bombers from behind .
The speed of each of us is about 700 km/h

This is just a quick glimpse on this epic mission !

I loved that mission. I hope to play it again if/when I return to the online game.
Just a hint: using the (borrowed from WW2) gunsight, Hawker Hunter's pilot can shoot Tu-4 down with cannons while staying outside of the gunners' range. Or almost outside.

Alternatively, high-speed slashing attacks (ala Me-262) mean that you're never in their guns long enough to get  accurately targeted, provided you can nail down the burst timing.
