Hello to all and apologies but I just bought a new monitor 34 widescreen (3440x1440) and having an issue where I can select the resolution but does not load up? And if it does it just goes back to windowed 1920x1080, any help is greatly appreciated! (sadly it is saying I can't post pictures)

Just to make sure..you have set that resolution in your confi.ini..

I have, but it just resets to 1920x1080 when I start it up again and changes the confi.ini every time, can't get it to run full screen either just windowed

Just make sure you have these settings in the conf.ini:

width=3440
height=1440
ColourBits=32
DepthBits=24
StencilBits=8
ChangeScreenRes=0
FullScreen=1
EnableResize=0
EnableClose=1
SaveAspect=0
WideScreenFoV=1

Finally you also need to check your DPI settings if (as I suspect) your windows scaling is not set to 100%.

Just did this and same thing happening, only launches in windowed mode and in 1920x1080, like it resets itself everytime I mess with the confi

which version are you using? and please just post your [window] section of your conf.ini here

Is your conf.ini set to "read only", is your game in "Program files" folder? For the last case move it to somewhere else on your disc(s).

conf.ini is not ready only, and game is installed in my other drive for games not program files
