Oh, nice, thanks !

Little question, as it is not mentioned... when running the installer, will it delete the previous #DOF3, #TGA3, #WAW3 and #JTW3 folders (like with 4.2 installer, for example) and re-install everything ???

Thank you vampire pilot and many others who created this wonderful mod. Great respect and gratitude for your hard and difficult work. Very good is this new selector with function- Auto adjust.
Downloaded, installed and working (all 4 parts) without the slightest problems. ]thumleft[

Many thanks to everyone who contributed to this epic update!

One question: I'm having issues with the new Il-2 Selector 5.2.2 in Auto mode, with Out of Memory CTD being reported or missions refusing to load completely.

Is the balanced setting still recommended?  If we choose to select the manual RAM setting, is 512 MB still recommended?

Cheers

If you did not change anything on your own, the new selector should automatically adjust maximum available RAM.

See if the "Auto Adjust" checkkbox is still ticked.
If you want you can try fixed RAM 1024 MB. Lower than that is not recommended. (you can sure try though, maybe it works for you)

How much RAM does your rig have in total?
From your history and your previous comments I start questioning your hardware. Meaning, the auto adjust seems to grab way too little RAM for whatever reason on your system.

Hi Vampire_Pilot

OK, I'll give 1024 MB RAM a try.

My system has 128 GB of RAM available, albeit running Il-2 Sturmovik 1946 BAT 4.3.0 in a Parallels Desktop 20 Windows 11 x64 ARM virtual machine on an Apple M4 Max MacBook Pro.

Not exactly your standard rig...

Cheers

Geoffrey

Edit: I've found that a manual RAM setting of 768 MB works best for me.  That cleared the out of memory errors.

Alright, that is enough on the physical side. But software is indeed special.

Let me know how it goes.

Incredibly fantastic.

Will install tonight.

Malwarebytes does not detect anything wrong with installer, but you do have to tell Windows to allow download.
