New BAT update  :dancing_banana: :dancing_banana:
There's a small problem for me though - it seems that all 7 zips are damaged. At least according to the installer (wrong checksums).
I am in the process of redownloading them to be sure, yet it is unlikely that all 7 files got corrupted. Could be it something wrong with the installer (never had that before)

EDIT:
Fixed. Looks like that moving everything to a dedicated folder was needed. It seems when everything was just thrown into some generic directory the installer could not detect these files properly.

paratrooper error means insufficient memory have you tried using S3TC compression?
TexCompress=2
TexFlags.TexCompressARBExt=1

I have tried this, but unfortunately without success

Hello everyone! First of all huge thanks to the team behind this beautiful BAT project for all the work they do for the community, but i've got a problem with this update. The installation seems to have went fine, i've tried to start every single expansion wich started and worked fine appart from the "Dawn Of Flight" one and SAS 5.3 (wich i don't care btw). Basically when i try to start the DOF expansion the BAT start up immage appear for about one second or so and then disappears and nothing more happens, i want to add that such expansion worked fine with BAT 4.2.2 that i had before and that i've always had selected 1024MB of RAM in the selector options and also that i re-booted the pc after installing the update and it's relative latest patch. Does anybody had this type of issue with this expansion or maybe another one and got it fixed? If the event log is needed for you guys to help me with this problem, i don't actually know where to find it, so..... if you can kindly tell me that too if needed that whould be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance to everyone!

Hi!

Spotted a small glitch in Albatros cockpits....here the D.I....

The compass N point plane nose direction (in this case 90°) instead to point the relative magnetic bearing...in the specific the compass N point right at 90° indicating as if the aircraft is flying W (270°) while it's actual headling is E (90°) ....

I never find this before because since the compass is at the bottom of the cockpit and for me was more quick look at the speed bar....but in these days I was playing Jasta 5 campaign and I have used a more realistic view and navigation and discovered the issue....

Well ... I guess you won't need one at the western front.

If you get fire from the left and none from the right - heading north.
If you get fire from the right and none from the left - heading south.
If you get fire all the time - heading west.
If you do not get any fire - enemy out ammo.

:-D

Hi, not sure if unrelated to 4.3 or not. under 4.2.3 all was good. The 4.3 and patch one seemed to install fine, but seeing something weird on the ground textures  - looks like a bulls eye pattern at super low res in white with my plane at the center. Anybody seen anything like that?

Thanks, no change unless the update overwrote my settings. I don't see any change to the .ini. Its like a bullseye target was drawn on the ground textures at massive scale with my plane not quite at the center and rings radiating out at super low resolution. Very odd.

Direct X instead of Open GL in the settings?

I have tried this, but unfortunately without success

Edit : I found a solution, in the IL-2 Selector I chance the RAM Usage from "Auto Adjust" to manually and and have increased the ram to 610mb.
Now there is no more error when loading a mission or campaign.

You could increase the RAM in the selector up to 1024 and see how it works
