Setting aside your snark, it seems I was looking at the wrong ship objects in the Mission Editor.   There are 3 different Valley Forges and two different Boxers.  The ones I need are indeed there so no real issue.

No snark intended, I was genuinely wondering. The carriers should come with dates in the name to help ID the correct version.

The "correct" Korean War era flat tops are the ones with the plain wooden deck.  The other versions have the more WWII appropriate dark gray schemes.
