If you are already planning to refurbish this mod, it would be a sin not to mention this version

This B-24D contains a lot of beautiful 3D msh files. It might be a waste to use them only for this B-24D.

So...with a little application as them, even old planes can be changed nicely.

Whiskey_Sierra_972 sent me a PM asking for additional explanation of the above, so I try to write a few more comments.

I noted the face of Pilot No.5 wearing black goggles and the panel msh among 3D msh files of Ranwers' B-24D.

I combined the face of Pilot No.5 with the body of a Russian two-sheet fighter pilot of Barnesy. The result was good and looked classical. It was very suitable for use as a pilot for TGA. So, it is currently being used as a pilot for Hs-123A-1.

The panel msh is simple to apply. It only need to adjust the size. It's good to use the empty cockpit for round fuselage bombers. It is currently used for He-111A_B in TGA.

I feel sorry for him for not being able to explain in more detail.

And...

I won't share files of the result. I hope users do their own research and get results.

I recently tried sharing a bug fix method and file related to some old planes, but no one appreciated them.

So I'm not going to share files anymore. the same goes for the experience and knowledge I gained, for I choked on asking something and answering it myself.

But I'm not quitting downloading, I'm going to continue downloading.

So I'm not going to share files anymore.

Hello Gunny !

I don't quite understand your new decision, since sites like SAS are mainly based upon ... sharing ...  :-[

If you stick to your decision, and for ex post screenshots of new 3D improvements you made, but refuse to share them, then this will be crual teasing for all of us ...  ::(

Please don't you forget that you have so far downloaded quite a lot of 3D improvements and skins that were posted at SAS for anyone to download ...  ;)

You can't please everyone, so if a modder/skinner posts the result of his work (for free ...), and that somebody else doesn't like it, then no big deal, let's see what the complainer is capable of doing ...!  :-|

I really hope you will reconsider your decision, amigo, until then, a very happy New Year to you  ...!  ;)

Thanks for your explanation mate!

Now I understand what are you speaking about!

About your fixes I have checked your post and if you refere to the Dewoitine and the Osprey I can say that you're right but anyway at least one thanks for the Dewoitine was posted...you have to consider that more than being unthankful , you got few replies because these are non common planes used by not so much of the users....but the teach behind these is a great knowledge....

Instead to don't share , can you consider to post such discoveries in a new topic about the general issue and not hidden among the posts of a specific and rare plane?

At the moment I also overlooked them ... maybe in the near future, when I should start working on TGA, I would have come to look for your post and I would have thanked you for this ...

You can't find my comments that made me choke. Because I'm embarrassed and I've already deleted them.

And...looking at my comments so far, there are many things that seem to point out. I want to stop being misunderstood like that. Because I don't want to give anyone the feeling that I'm the one who points out.

I recently realized that the best thing to do here is to stay still and download only.

However, if there are times when I think my poor knowledge is needed, I will be of little help to your future plans.

Thank you.

... well, if you think that someting is wrong in a mod or a skin or else, or could be improved, there is another solution instead of publically posting a negative comment ...  ;)

You can send the modder/skinner a PM to tell him that someting is wrong according to you etc ...  ;)

Thus, the modder/skinner won't be offended or upset by a public negative comment and most of the time he will thank you for sending him the PM ...  ;)

Most modders/skinners are artists (sort of), and artists are often susceptible and sensitive persons ...

I recently realized that the best thing to do here is to stay still and download only.

... I don't think so, especially if you have the necessary skills to help a modder/skinner in improving his work ...  ;)

For ex, you and I have recently cooperated for ex to put Ranwers new pilots in several aircraft, and the final result is that everybody here could benefit from our cooperation, it is a winner/winner solution ...  8)
