Thank you Ranwers and Kelso, others also for the good work.
#B.A.T 4.3, cbradbury, are you sure that the lower shooting turret functions in the manual version. In my case it does not, maybe I missed something.
Beautiful skins are plentiful, but where to find the one with the red and white checkerboard and combat missions flown. So painted they flew from Italy over Warsaw in August 44.

Confimed, yaro, lower turret does not function for manual gunnery. However it does not function in stock or the full 3D version either.

Is it compatible in BAT ???

Yes, Gaston, I just installed the 3D files via jgsme (not the full mod). Download this:

https://www.mediafire.com/file/ppqwv5xftm60bma/B-24D_new_3d.7z/file

Put the extracted folder into BATMODS, enable via jgsme, and you are good to go!

Thanks a lot !

My personal imagination :

It would be great if a system was developed in which Bombardier was standing (or sitting) in a normal flight and then the hidden Bombardier leaned into the bombing sight when the Bomber Doors were opened.

... if this is possible, then you need a java coding guru ...  ;)

The stock B-24 J_100_CF has such a poor 3D that following my friend's Gilles64 feedback regarding the lack of props hubs shadows (engine OFF) I tried to fix that by borrowing the D props, and then, little by little I also borrowed the D engines and MGs ...

... but there is a bug, a black gap in the right wing engines (not visible under MeshViewer) that no matter what I tried I couldn't fix ...  ::(

... I also tried to import the D's main Gears, but the result is laughable ...!  ::(

... so the conclusion is that all this is way beyond my modest skills, so let's wish Ranwers & Co will tackle the subject ...  ;)

This is probably a similar way to gunner looking forward in a two-seat fighter, turning back and catching a machine gun on a combat flight.

I have no doubt that maybe one day someone will challenge this.

Thank you.

The drug should be administered in small doses  :). Otherwise it may kill!
