Yeah, fascinating stuff, but... how on earth do we get there?

Our French friends are masters at not explaining anything, it seems. The starting point is: "You have IES 4.1.1" – well, isn't that lovely? And if you don’t?

The manual claims to cover both 4.1.1 & 4.1.2 installations, yet neither the manual nor the forum provide any clues on how to actually obtain IES 4.1.1. None of the forum pages where this elusive download link is supposed to be, nor any of the sub or super-branches, yield any results. And let’s not even talk about the forum's search function.

I might be as blind as a bat or as daft as a brush, but seriously, if I can’t find it, what hope does your average Joe have?

I do have 4.0 (lucky me).
I even have 4.1 (lucky me, again - others might not be that lucky).
What's missing - to me - is 4.1.1.

Honestly, if our French friends can’t be bothered to show us how to get to the starting point of their journey, I couldn’t care less – I'll just give it a miss.

Considering that to install the new version they advise to delete all the sfs as well as all the periods in JSGMEMODS for sure it will work on top of 4.0 or 4.1 and most likely even as a stand alone.

Same approach since the old days of Histomod

The instructions kick off with "you have IES 4.1.1". There's no guidance if you don't.
I'm not asking to be spoon-fed, but surely letting people know how to install this 24GB behemoth should be the bare minimum, right?

Imagine if we rolled out BAT like this: "Here's BAT 4.3 for you. We assume you have BAT 4.2.3 already installed." And then... erase all traces of any BAT version prior to 4.3. And if someone asks: "Oh, just give it a go and see if it works out of the box." Ha? Ha.

They have a dedicated site that hosts all stuff, Infos.
Remember, Check Six is just a french Community, not the origin.

I do not have the Link at hand.

Nice, thanks.
Now that both versions have the same size (approximately, 23.5GB vs 24GB), I'm wondering what the reason for the "update on 4.1.1" version was in the first place, but anyhow, nice to have it standalone now.
