Mission4Today
« on: December 31, 2024, 11:33:50 PM »

Hi all,

I've been having trouble accessing Mission4Today these past couple days, which gives me the impression the site is offline. Anyone know what may be going on with M4T?

Thanks

Exactly, I have the same thing. I think a lot of people do, too.

It briefly came back online today but is down again.
I've noticed a lot of "visitors" lately, so perhaps they're trying to fix it.

I have a mission to make available here but needed the M4T download link to go with a MediaFire link.   Finally got it.

We are looking into it.  ]thumbsup[
We seem to have been found again by some search sites. I have seen up to 400 of their bots visiting the site recently.

For some unknown reason M4T stopped using https security protocol so firefox  advises you that the connection could potentially be at risk

To set the record straight, they're still on HTTPS, though their certificate has now expired.

Ok then i was mislead by Chrome that instead of using the usual warning for expired certificate just told me that the connection was unsafe and also suggested to contact the website manager to suggest upgrade to https!

Rumours of the demise have been greatly exaggerated.

Same story today.    Mon 6 January 2025.    I got in anyway.
..on avg google browser: " ...certificate has expired last day.... "
NET::ERR_CERT_DATE_INVALID

..on such google browser:
1- clicked on advanced.
2- clicked on proceed to mission for today anyway.      [ i.e.: Proceed to www.mission4today.com (unsafe) ]

later that day:
...oh well, now it says "This site can’t be reached" (Cf. reply#14).  ... Will retry later.

updated:  08 January 2025:

Google Chrome search browser ( Note: avg google browser requires method above on every click ! ):
..applied method above.
..site entered, then 'bookmark' or 'add shortcut'.
..now have a more persistent full access with                    Not secured http ://www.mission4today.com/index.php.
