Means what?

Previously you said you had DEP disabled already, yet you reported this:

How is this "no error code"?

See: If DEP is disabled correctly and successfully, you will not see any such entry in the windows event log.
Code 0xc0000005 (access violation) at offset 0x000b08b0 is 100% definitely, absolutely a DEP issue. Period.

Did you try the command line option already?

What's the result?

I mean by "first way" was the way described in the guide:

(added the additional disbale within exploit protection).

This created no error codes, not even a register in event viewer - but the application still didnt boot.

Here is the settings for DEP I am using, (2x everything initally steam and secondary new folder on other drive)

As you can see in the background, event viewer is not recording anything.

I tried the command line like suggested and the complete block of DEP through security/apps, but nothing.

Perhaps DEP is issue 1, and its been resolved, but there is something which is not booting the app

Your statements seem a bit contradictory. Initially, you mentioned that you disabled DEP as suggested, and yet you observed the "magic" error in the Windows event log. Now, you say that with the same settings, the error doesn't get logged.
You also mentioned that with the second setting, explicitly excluding il2fb.exefrom DEP while activating it for all other processes, the error was logged. Now you say it isn't.

This...
I tried the command line like suggested and the complete block of DEP through security/apps, but nothing.
...doesn't address my question, as the statement "but nothing" lacks content and doesn’t answer what I asked for.
I'd love to assist, but it's quite challenging when the information keeps changing.

Hey Mike.

So. Gone back to the very start.

Uninstalled everything, deleted files and reverted any settings.

DEP is not the issue.

....well, I say its not the issue as its not creating an entry in Event Viewer

Changed DEP to "off by default" by App Security, restarted, no change

Alright.
As soon as DEP can be ruled out (and I take your word for granted that there is no new entry in the event viewer anymore), the "Startup Debugger" is your friend.
See the lower half of this post for further details:

Might help if you apply a modpack to it to replace the original launcher/exe.
Seen this before, and installing Ultrapack fixed it.

hey guys,

back again.  After fiddling around a little, trying a few different things - It turned out to be screen resolution.

However, I NOW have DEP

Its unending this.

Everything uninstalled and removed (to start from scratch again).
Screen resolution adjusted in the config file and DEP now comes. New screen shot shows exactly what is coming up.

DEP settings:
The ones in Windows Security (App & Browser Control), I have tried a mix of ON (no change) ON by Default (No Change) OFF (WORKS!!). But I dont want DEP to be off, its quite important tool.
Over to the advanced security settings. Method one in the help text for DEP did not work. Method two - all 3 executables have been added to safe list, no change, did not work.

Maybe its something to do with windows 11?

Open to suggestions and ideas.

From what I understand, you cannot add an entire folder to DEP, just specific applications. There is a faulty module path, which I cannot seem to do anything with.
