I play IL-2 1946 in its various versions, IL-2 Sturmovick and Cliffs of Dover about 15 years ago. All games worked perfectly, until I had to move house. I didn't play for about a year while I adapted to my new home. Some time ago my HD where the games were installed burned. I lost everything, including the driver installers for the joysticks I have. I played for years with a Chinese PXN-2119 that worked very well, I also have a Saitek AV8r-03 and a Saitek st290 pro. I reinstalled all the games, but none of the joysticks work anymore. I discovered that Saitek no longer exists and that it is only possible to download some drivers through Saitek's FTP server, which I already did, as well as downloading the driver for the new PRO version of the PXN-2119, since I can't find the old one anymore. I tried installing but none of them worked. The Windows 10 that I use also does not recognize the joysticks perfectly, because using the native Windows drivers the controls work inverted, the axes work in reverse or do not work at all. I searched a lot on the internet for solutions, none of them worked. In my opinion, the Saitek and PXN drivers do not work because Windows 10 does not properly recognize the devices. I'm running out of options, I ask for help on this Forum. Will I need to buy new devices?

Hi Have you tried 3D extreme pro because the ones mentioned I dont so not sure of the problem unless someone who has one of those testify. I used it for years in win10 and the price would only be equal but not higher than those mentioned. Reliable for me.

I don't have any other joysticks, just the ones I mentioned. I think the only possible solution would be to get the drivers that were on the lost HD from someone.

Not related to your problem but can I ask if PXN-2119pro joystick really has vibration function on IL-2 '46 compatibility because Im interested if it has.

Sorry but I don't get that part of your message.
Windows 10 is supposed e.g. to recognize the AVR-03 as a standard 13 button Fightstick with Throttle and Rudder right out of the box, no additional drivers needed.
What exactly isn't working for you here?

The problem seems to have been temporarily resolved. I reinstalled the motherboard drivers and the joysticks were recognized, even though the axes were inverted. But when I ran IL-2 the game recognized the axes correctly, I don't know why. I tested it on 1946 and Cliffs of Dover. I still need to test it on Sturmovick.

the axes were inverted
Any half-brained application won't rely on a certain axis direction anyway, hence I don't think this should become an issue.

I discovered that Saitek no longer exists

Saitek has been taken over by Mad Catz, and Mad Catz than sold Saitek to Logitech, so a lot of Saitek hardware you can now find rebranded as Logitech, including the Drivers.
The older drivers you can find here: https://www.saitek.com/uk/down/drivers.php
