IL2 1946 With BAT 4.3 Suddenly Unplayable

I've been playing IL-2 1946 with various versions of BAT enabled for 3+ years on a modern rig.

I've changed nothing regarding my PC, Steam or the game's files since I initially set it up with BAT.

It's worked flawlessly up until 2 days ago when all of a sudden I get into a mission and the game is stuttering.

Despite all the mappings being correct and making no changes to my stick and trackir setup no inputs are being registered and the only thing that works is my trackir (on a 5 second delay).

I have no clue what could be causing this and I've tried everything. Nothing is wrong with my PC, nothing is wrong with my peripherals and nothing in the games files has been modified.

I ended up tearing it up from the studs, completely wiping the install, reinstalling it, reinstalling BAT, running in compatibility mode and disabling DEP.

Still Nothing.

I'm just at wits end because it was literally working just a while ago and now without changing anything it's just broken.

did you check if for any reason your IL2fb.exe instead of using the dedicated GPU is using the integrated graphic. Just right click on the exe and go to run with .....(your GPU). Other possibility would be to verify your GPU settings

You mentioned "stuttering", did you mean low FPS?

No, more of the audio stuttering and the game being frozen for bits of a time

Restart pc, open memory repair diagnostic tool, run it its 2/2 stages. 1/2 is short,2/2 is quite long. Restart and see.

Cannot get that displayed once in the game due to inputs not registering accurately.

It's not a problem with my RAM, I checked and 46 is the only game on my system that seems to have severe performance issues

It's all just so bizarre to me since it seems to be an issue localized entirely to IL-2 1946 and I literally hadn't touched the files since I set the game up years ago.

Frustrating and disheartening.

Another update

I downloaded it off steam and ran base 46 on my laptop and all of the same issues persisted

Another update

I was able to get the game itself to cease lagging

However the main issue, the input lag itself still persists
