Swordfish rear gunner.

Hi,
Is it possible to change the rear gun operation in the Swordfish in BAT.
At the moment  selecting gunner has the machinegun in a locked down position .
Selecting autopilot enables the gun to swivel and fire but  does not give a proper
field of fire because of the locked down position.
Any help welcome,
