This plane does not exist in BAT 4.0-4.2 (not sure about the above version).

It is present in SAS Modact 5.3.

If you enter the air.ini contents of SAS Modact 5.3 into BAT as it is, it is well recognized (it means you don't need to get the file, you just need to add it to air.ini).
   - Bf-109E-3/B      air.BF_109E3B                2 NOINFO g01 SUMMER

Unlike the Bf-109E-3, you can see that the bomb rack is attached to Bf-109E-3/B.

You can also see that the weapon loadout of the Bf-109E-3/B is correct and the weapon loadout of the Bf-109E-3 is wrong (this needs to be fixed).

I hope everyone gives it a try.

It would be fun to compare the two mods.

Personally, I think the new mod is very good.

The cockpit is imported from CoD while the plane is an import from war thunder. The 109E-3 had already one of the best cockpits in IL-2.

I don't intend to promote the plane mod of other site.

It seems to be a problem for users to choose.

And...my point here is that you can make Bf-103E3/B with just one line in air.ini.

Why Bf-103E3/B has been missed so far is really a mystery.

Maybe it's because its existence didn't mean much !!

The old 109E3/B is the same as the normal E3 (if you check you should be able to loadouts bombs as well) simply with java for 4 letters code ID instead of numbers and gruppe ID....

In the old days the E-3B (like all the 109 B) was the fighter-bomber version with just the difference in the loadout that included bombs. When the Java wall issues came out with the need to reduce the number of slots it was decided to suppress these variants incorporating them into the basic 109s. A similar  approach was taken for the desert/trop versions.  In the case of Freemodding I suppose that the choice was to use E-3B just to avoid confusion with other E-3 versions.

What is interesting is that Bf-109E3/B appears based on the current Bf-109E3.

Depending on how much the current Bf-109E3 is personally modulated, the appearance of Bf-109E3/B can also appear beautifully as same.

That is, it does not appear in the old (stock) style.
