LeO 451 from GB 31 ,Battle of France
« on: January 23, 2025, 08:43:36 AM »

Hello everyone!

I finished the skinpack for the LeO 451 of GB 31 from May June, 1940. As before, the skins are semi-historical to non-historical. I found several photos on the internet, descriptions and graphic representations that were somewhat contradictory. The idea of making more skins for planes is to be able to do a mission or a campaign, even if the planes didn't look exactly like that, so that they were historical. The paint on the LeO 451 planes apparently didn't really adhere to the aluminum and peeled off much faster than normal, that's why so many Leos have peeled paint. Soon I will also share the Template I worked on. Il-2 Sturmovik is a very old simulator, many of the "aviators" are older than me, so gentlemen, you have all my respect.

All the best!

With great pleasure! I will start working on the Breguet 693, so that it can also be an attack aircraft. I hope I succeed.

All the best!

Superb work as always, thank you very much, really appreciated. 8)

Great to see some attention being made to all the French types as that period was sadly neglected in many cases.

Take care and be safe.

Wishing you all the very best, Pete. ;D

Work in progress.
The presentation is generic, without the influence of weather and wear. Brand new from the factory. I really like it, even if the inscriptions are duplicated on both sides of the rudder. There are still a few areas of distortion. The lower part of the wing has only one part that is cloned during assembly, so the code from the Breguet 691 version cannot be inscribed. That's it, but it's still beautiful!

Wish me luck!  ;D
