Everything is working fine for me. No problems at all.
Okay zaxxxx2, thanks for that, really appreciated.
In my case, me 163, me262 and various others fall on their stomachs or explode on the runways without landing gear. It is enough to have the B-49 folder in the mod folder. Whether the entries are in the ini's or not doesn't matter. A flying Me-163 (KI) even crashed onto the runway next to my plane and exploded. If you remove the B-49 folder again, everything is normal again. At first I thought everything was ok until I started a mission. Since I wanted to port the B-49 from BAT JTW to WAW, it could of course be that this is where the incompatibility lies. I'm still looking.
Thank you roentgi, really appreciated.
I tried the stock 163 and 262 in my main 4.12 ModAct 5.30 install along with a couple of modded 262 types and all was okay for me so I have not any idea why you had the issue you did.
It could be how each of our folders are located in the folder hierarchy or what we have installed but that is one for the technicians on the site as it is beyond my understanding.
I found that the B-35 loads in the QMB without the fluttering screen but the B-49 flutters, now if I actually fly the B-49 first then go to the arming screen it is okay, however, for both I cannot get a skin change even changing the various skin1o in the summer folder or using 1 or 3mb:
I guess if any of you download from my link we will probably get various outcomes, maybe I should just remove the link and save all the trouble.
This is the trouble with answering a request for someone, if it won't work for them but does for you we then end up tormenting ourselves trying to get it to work and I suppose we are going down many rabbit holes there, I don't have the patience these days especially as I only use BAT these days for the rare times I fly and this is working fine in there but I will never use it in a mission/campaign myself.
Anyway, thank you guys.
Take care and be safe.
Wishing you all the very best, Pete.
