There is no rationale that i can see TexCompress is supposed to help reducing the memory needs of your GPU but with your system specs I don't see why you should need it. I can turn it off with my 14 year old 550M 2gb of memory. Check that il2fb.exe is set to use the Nvidia gpu and not the integrated one

My CPU didnt come with integrated.  If my GPU dies, i get no picture.

You are right, it is not the TexCompress.  I revert it back to zero and BAT still launches.  Well, im sure the conf fixed it but im curious which line or lines.  Thanks again for everyone's help.
