K5Y1 - K5Y2 Aka-tombo extracted from BAT 4.3

K5Y1 and K5Y2 from BAT 4.3 "DANGER ZONE", all credit goes to the BAT team.

Special thanks to Frankiek for his help, support and intervention for the correction and sending of the class file of K5Y1 !! :)
Special thanks to leforban for the missing K5Y hashed class file,  K5Y1 Fixes and Improvements !!   ;)

In the folder you will find the hashed and unhashed class files....it's up to you to choose which one suits you !

These "red dragonflies" have been tested in 4.12.2m Modact 5.30 and seem to work ... VP Modpack too !!

It seems to work fine in DBW 4.10.1 as well ...

Nope. Needs regular format air.classes, pit classes and else... ( perhaps u can get them in the running bat4.3 paintscheme/Cache ? Not sure.).
Only previous AI only Akatombo's work for me in 412..2m Modact 5.30.
With older AI air classes, I got both the old and the new loadouts of cod..
Yes I have disabled AI mod to check the new one. Missing air.classe message in log was obtained. Thank you much  for your efforts.

The classes are in the download in the "com" folder. If you are using 4.12.2 with modact 5.3 you shouldn't have a problem. You don't need to do anything but drop the content of the download in your #SAS folder. If you are receiving a message about missing classes something is wrong in your install.

Make sure you disable the older AI only version.

As Hubberranz wrote, in my case (Vp modpack) it is quite similar, I have a 60% CTD after installation:

I partially fixed the situation by overwriting the Aka-tombo folder in my game with the file shared by gilles,
after testing, the airplane works, but it cannot be selected as a player airplane due to the lack of cockpit, and its armament in the selection window is duplicated twice.

Hmmm. Running 4.12.2m Modact 5.30.

Same problem with me, 60% crash with the following in my log list:

Main begin: PlMisAir(GUIQuick): class 'air.K5Y1' not found
java.lang.RuntimeException: PlMisAir(GUIQuick): class 'air.K5Y1' not found

Same crash regardless of how early it loads in my #SAS folder.

I tested with my VP modpack and everything works



I really think that you just have an installation problem as all the classes that you need are in the download

I have been waiting so long for this bird to be flyable !
 Will add it to campaigns as introduction mission...
The skins are beautiful by the way especially the green and orange ones !

I had to add the hashed version of the files to the main folder
If any one is interested let me know and I will add them for download...

Works well in 4.10.1 DBW... Even the gunner view

Just a little part missing in the wings between the WingIn and the WingOut of each wing in the cockpit view... No big deal
